To the editor:

A response to the 2-24-2024 ‘True Light high school proposal’ by Jim Muchlinski.

As Jim said about the True Light people: “They clearly believe that without God nothing is important, but that with Him nothing is impossible.”

My hope and prayer is that someday Catholics would be just as motivated as the True Light people, and thereby bring about the resurrection of Central Catholic High School. If that should happen, I would hope that it would become a truly ‘Eucharist Centered’ high school.

I remember Jim’s father during my time at Central, a teacher who displayed good character and I respected him.

That school died young, (1950-1967). Seventeen years is way too young.
