Unless you were on a mission to Mars, you probably have heard the "facts" related to the death of George Floyd and his trial. As is the case in many news stories, there was a rush to judgment. Liz Collin; former WCCO anchor had the courage to report what really went on in the days when Minneapolis was burning. For her efforts she was demoted and later quit the Good Neighbor to the Northwest. Just recently she produced a movie/documentary that shows, much like the newly released Jan. 6 videos, all the evidence that was omitted. Probably the most glaring lies were told by the former Minneapolis police chief and a police training officer regarding the MRT; maximum restraining technique. Both of them, under oath, said this technique was never part of the training given to the police officers. However, the official police training manual and testimony by many police officers proves their statements were false. The judge was also biased in regard to evidence from the first attending physician who performed the original autopsy on George Floyd as well as different angles of the now infamous restraining hold as shown from police body cameras. This makes one wonder what other news stories are really what has happened. Best example; Fake News reporting in the summer of 2020; fires raging in the background but the on scene reporter declares: Mostly Peaceful.
