To the editor:
Awe inspiring it is to see the King of the Universe, Jesus Christ, humbly allow Himself to be pictured for us in our local newspaper as He leads our Bishop in procession. Tuesday, following Corpus Christi, posted in picture is Jesus Christ present to us in the Most Holy Sacrament, the Eucharist. Pictured there, Tuesday June the thirteenth, is Christ crying out for our hearts as we have concealed from our sight, He who is Truth, seeing instead a representation in His place.
Our veiled vision is seen clear where there is a reference to the Blessed Sacrament as a representation of Jesus Christ rather than scribed for us to see He who is present Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity. Blind even amongst the Baptized participating in Communion as it is said that for three who see He, seven look symbolically. Looking with closed eyes our hearts harden and hear not as our Lord cries trust in Me and you shall see.
Seeking us to see, our Savior shows Himself before the photographer's lens that the seven may have a revival of heart and the three may witness to He for all nations. That we be sanctified in the Truth prays the Son to the Father as His heart desires for us all to be one, even as He is One with Him. Appealing with a cry from His heart our Lord longs that none be lost.
June, the month celebrating Jesus' Most Sacred Heart, Christ permits a photographer to picture and a paper to post. Shown photographed for us on the Sunday dedicated to the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, the Prince of Peace pleases that His living pulse be known just as the Eucharistic Miracle at Buenos Aires has in study shown. Fitting it is for Christ photo'd with a bishop and priest as He ordained hands of the priesthood to be those which consecrate what begins as bread, the work of human hands, and becomes for us food for life everlasting Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity.
