Minnesota flourishes choosing life — faulters following death’s choice

To the editor:

I write this not in judgment of decisions past but rather for a better deciding future. We need not despair over our previous error but rather turn from it towards our future flourishing. You ought not exalt yourself in world fearing but rather be humble through fear of the Lord realizing yourself to be His beloved child created as an image and likeness of God Himself.

Today as a world fearing people, we are drenched with knowledge, yet we find ourselves arid in wisdom. At this time, we have a knowledge of life as it develops from human beginning to human end here as unseen before, yet we allow ourselves to lack in wisdom the dignity of human life in its fullness. Applying instead our knowledge to contracept our nature for temporal gain we mold wax wings so as to soar to heights of this world’s success yet without wisdom and her counsel we fail to account the eternal cost and approaching the Son our wings melt holding us up no more.

Repenting of death’s culture, we become a culture of life from its conception through its natural death celebrating the dignity found in every human being. Believing in God’s love for each of us we become a God-fearing civilization flourishing with love of neighbor. Trusting in our Father Almighty God’s mercy for each of us we become coheirs to eternal life through Jesus Christ with the Holy Spirit guiding us.

Minnesota, we again author our laws of life and death within our own hands. Will we continue to stain our hands with the blood of our brothers and sisters, sons and daughters for personal choice or do we for love of our neighbor turn to use our hands to hold high in our state the human dignity always present in each and every human being created by God with us? I, Timothy, reach out to you in Minnesota to open your hearts and minds to the way of life and not be blinded by the lies of this culture of death.
