To the Editor:

I am writing to enthusiastically support Anne Marie Vorbach and Ben Walker for the Marshall School Board election on Tuesday November 8th. In addition to both candidates vocally supporting the operating levy that has been proposed, I believe both candidates will be great public servants for the Marshall Public Schools. Both Ann Marie and Ben have children in the district and have direct lines of communication to understand the challenges and successes in the school buildings. They both have an understanding of the role of a school board member and a willingness to provide leadership to school district administration.

The vote for the operating levy is also vital for our schools. The need to keep our classrooms sizes as small as possible is important to both student learning and positive outcomes for all students. A vote in support of the operating levy will ensure our school district continues to support students and staff by maintaining staffing levels and cover rising costs to the district that are not supported by statewide funding formulas.

On Nov. 8t, please support Marshall Public Schools by voting yes on the referendum and voting for Anne Marie Vorbach and Ben Walker for school board.
