A man has no right telling a woman

To the editor:

In the quest for total autonomy women are granted soul authority as a matter of her choice. Many men are yielding to her choice from a station of silence as to when life begins if it should at all. Lacking complementary understanding man no longer sees life within woman, but rather a choice in which he will not speak to. As autonomy demands, no man has a right telling a woman how to treat life within her. He is to submit the gift of life to a woman’s choice alone.

Separated from life through a choice, men and women negate their equality in human dignity, seeking sameness instead. We disregard any evidence of our existence as a composite of complements who come together in One Flesh. Divorced from Truth we travel towards a mirage serving only a choice of our desire, distorting our image to that of a child shouting, “It is so because I say so”.

At a time where we have been gifted greatly with science and technology to appeal to our human intellect and reason, we have become so smart yet unwise. Science is a tool to reveal the Truth found in nature to humanity, while technology aids us to work with and communicate Truth. These are not mechanisms bending reality for desire’s sake.

Men can sit silent no more! For it is man’s seed, sewn in her fertile garden, sprouting life in the tabernacle of a woman’s womb. It is the duty of men to stand up and speak for those whose voice is yet to breath, holding high the human dignity of men and women and the life they bring forth in their One Flesh union.

By our nature we are called to live in communion. Returning to our human complementarity, where neither male nor female is an object for desire, we build up community working together in the Truth of our humanity, where love is not merely a feeling but an act of the will for the true good of another.
