To the editor:

I recently spoke with Ed Lozinski, District Representative of the DAV (Disabled American Veterans), regarding the clothing drive that is underway to help DAV members. There is an ongoing need for our Disabled American Veterans to have ample clothing to meet their needs. With that thought in mind, I ask everyone who is cleaning their closets to please consider putting the clothes in a bag and putting them into the DAV drop boxes located at Hy Vee, Walmart or the One Source store this summer, fall or throughout the year. You will be doing a great service to a fellow American. Clothes can be for men, women or children. Thank you for your kindness.
