Gary Dahms is a principled, hard-working and effective senator who deserves your vote in the Aug. 9 Republican primary. He has voted to protect Minnesota's taxpayers by providing $8.65 billion in tax relief, end o ur state's tax on Social Security benefits and to block Gov. Walz's 20 cent per gallon fuel tax hike. Gary has also defended our freedoms by voting to end the governor's abusive use of his emergency powers, which closed so many of our local businesses for far too long.
He has worked to pass tougher sentencing for repeat violent offenders and to help our communities recruit more law enforcement officers. Sen. Dahms has also authored legislation to lower health insurance costs, especially for farmers and small businesses. Gary Dahms has earned a broad range of endorsements from Minnesota' Concerned Citizens for Life, the Federation of Independent Business, the Police and Peace Officers Association, Gun Owners Caucus and the Republican Party.
