To the editor:

Letters to the Editor praising President Biden’s policies during his first 15 months in office have been basically nonexistent. I was eager to read Mr. Dennis Phelps’s recent letter of March 1st. I, and I suspect others, have been patiently waiting for someone on the left to explain President Biden’s accomplishments.

What I found in Mr. Phelps’s letter was an angry and disrespectful personal attack, blaming Republicans, our U.S. Representative Michele Fischbach, and former President Trump, of course, for President Biden’s many problems and failures.

As a former career high school social studies teacher, I remain eager to learn. In light of current world events, combined with record crime and inflation in America, I have a simple request of Mr. Phelps. Please help us all understand and see clearly how President Biden has made America a safer and better place to live.
