To the editor:

The first question that came to mind while reading John Coulter’s March 3 letter to the editor was why does he want/need letters toting President Biden’s accomplishments?

If he truly remains “eager to learn” why would he not just Google Biden’s accomplishments?

Or does he want a platform where he and other Republicans can flood this newspaper with their Fox News researched, alternative facts letters?

President Biden’s biggest accomplishment in my opinion is bringing civility and respect back to the Office of the President. No longer do we have bullying, name calling or mocking of the disabled coming from our Oval Office.

He is building the trust and respect back from our allies that the former administration destroyed. There is no greater example of that than what the US and many other countries are doing to stop the tyranny happening in Ukraine, while the former President and many in his party are praising Putin.

His Infrastructure plan, COVID relief deal, reduction of unemployment and commitment to combating climate change are a few of his other accomplishments. All achieved while battling the most political divide this country has probably ever seen.

While you found Mr Phelps’s letter as angry and disrespectful to the Republicans and Trump, remember who you were blaming for everything when Trump was in office.
