To the editor:

You do not know what God thinks or supports. You, in your human arrogance, know what you believe based on what you have been taught by other arrogant humans. You may believe the Bible tells you what Jesus thought and taught and you may believe Jesus was God’s only representative here on Earth. But that is a belief, not a fact.

Humility is necessary to grant that others to believe and speak about different points of view. Teach your children what you believe. Trust them to develop their own opinions and stop feeling threatened when they are exposed to something different. You really don’t have a choice. Even your children belong to themselves.
