Look what’s happening on Mexican border
To the editor:
I went to renew my driver’s license this morning. I was born, raised and married in the USA. I have worked, bought a home, raised three kids, retired and paid taxes every year since 1958 in the USA.
Because I still do travel, I wanted an “Enchanted ID” so I can fly in the USA and drive or walk into adjoining countries without a passport.
For this “privilege” I was required to have my current license, birth certificate, marriage license, Social Security card and my current property/MN tax statements.
I came home to television news of what’s happening on the Mexican border. Who in their right mind thinks this is all right?
