To the editor:

Congratulations to the Marshall voters — you have the opportunity to soon make Steve Ritter your mayor. For 36 years my wife and I have resided in rural Marshall and have noticed a significant difference from when we first called Marshall our home to now. While other communities are growing not only in population, their small and large businesses are also increasing while Marshall seems to have become stagnant. There is a definite need for change and to get this community “fired up” again.

Steve Ritter has served as our county commissioner and has always been approachable, listening to our concerns and speaking on our behalf. He grew up like a lot of us — with a good work ethic, putting others first and not forgetting the reason why we all do what we do. He knows what it takes to won and run a small business and be an employer. He is definitely a leader.

If you also want to see change, make sure to vote for Steve Ritter for mayor. The citizens of Marshall will benefit greatly.
