To the editor:

We retired on June 30 after 29 years of practice in Marshall. It was our first and only practice after residency. We are both born and raised Minnesotans, and we knew we wanted a small town to raise our family and to practice medicine. Marshall was a perfect fit for us both personally and professionally.

We wish to extend our deepest appreciation to Marshall and neighboring communities who have entrusted us with your healthcare. It has been an honor and a privilege to serve you and your families as your physicians. We would like to thank everyone for their well wishes, and we are overwhelmed with all of your kind words upon our retirement.

We have truly enjoyed our years in Marshall, and now is the time to move on to a new chapter in our lives. We are moving to our lake home near Spicer and plan to spend more time with each other, our children and grandchildren, continue our current hobbies, and explore new adventures. We thank our community for giving us a great experience in Marshall.
