Vote yes on school building referendum
To the editor:
When I moved to Marshall after graduating college, I was excited and nervous to move across the state to a community I did not know. What I found when I got here was more than I could have hoped for.
I had several college friends who scattered across the state; they felt unwelcome and ended up leaving for greener pastures. That is not what I found here. Since moving here five years ago, I have come to know some of the most generous and supportive people I have ever met. I have always felt Marshall is somewhere I could stay and grow, both personally and professionally. Knowing Marshall is a place that invests in the future encourages me to make this city my permanent home.
Voting YES for the referendum is an investment in the future of Marshall.
