Mueller probe headline misleading
To the editor:
As a former writing and journalism teacher, I was appalled at your headline in Friday’s paper.
The Mueller probe was charged with investigating Russian collusion with the Trump campaign. The Barr news conference led with the finding of “No Collusion.” Your headline was taken from 10 items listed as instances investigated as possible obstruction; none of which were charged.
I would hate to think that the Independent would look as if it were “fake” news, but your headline and subsequent article were misleading and not the “big” story.
