Keep up the good work with writing
To the editor:
I want to take the opportunity to compliment the management of the Independent for two reasons:
1) Securing the writing of Jim Muchlinski. Besides being a very proficient writer, Jim’s writing often shows his interest in history which I find very remarkable. At the recent funeral for Jim’s dad, Jim Sr. was described as very kind and caring. I think Jim’s writing exudes those qualities. So keep up the good work.
2) I find it refreshing to see at least several sides of political discourse in the columns and editorials that appear in your paper. Our democracy needs that in a free press.
