Kevin Bruce Olson has left this world for his mansion in heaven.
Kermit and Mary Jane brought Kevin into this world. He grew up in Canby, MN.
Kevin's siblings; Sandy Boudewyns/ Tom, Kelly Deutz/Bob, Steven Olson, Paula Schooley Klein/Jason. He was preceded in death by his father, Kermit and his nephew, Sam.
Kevin was never afraid to throw caution to the wind and see where life might take him. He lived in Colorado, NYC, San Francisco and Mexico City at different times in his life but Minneapolis was home.
Kevin leaves behind a life that was anything but ordinary. He was a consultant in many areas. He helped so many people, and he loved deeply. Through his own struggles with addiction, he was always available to help, counsel, and support the people he encountered along the way, helping them move forward. He shared generously. His friends are too numerous to mention, which perhaps says as much about Kevin than anything. This world has lost a creative, artistic, kind, loving and grateful man. We will all miss him.
Please join us to celebrate Kevin's life on November 22, 2026 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Rogue Buddha Gallery in NE Mpls. There will be a community memorial at the Aliveness Project on 10/21/26 at 5:00 p.m.
