CANBY -- Services for Marjorie Mathews, 91, will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Nicolai Lutheran Church in Canby. Burial will be in the Nicolai Lutheran Cemetery, rural Canby. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., with a prayer service at 7 p.m., Wednesday at Nicolai Lutheran Church in Canby and will resume Thursday one hour prior to the service. Houseman Funeral Home, Birk Chapel in Canby is entrusted with the arrangements.
She died Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026, at the Hendricks Nursing Home in Hendricks.
