RUSSELL--Maxine Wilmes, 98, formerly of Russell, died on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at the Avera Morningside Heights Care Center in Marshall, Minnesota. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Christ Ev. Lutheran Church in Marshall, Minnesota. Visitation will take place one hour prior from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Inurnment will follow at the Arco City Cemetery in Arco, Minnesota. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hartquist Funeral Home – Tyler Chapel.
