CORPUS CHRISTI, TX -- Eldest son of Ernest and "Mickey" (Eileen McAuliffe) Cattoor. A graduate Central Catholic High School in 1956. Jim married Charlotte (Verkinderen) on September 29, 1962 in Ghent, MN. They were married for 35 years until her passing in 1997. Following his honorable discharge from the United States Navy, Jim moved his family to Dallas, TX where he worked for American Airlines for 32 years, retiring in 1998. He then moved to Corpus Christi in 2000.
He was preceded in death by his wife Charlotte Cattoor, parents Ernest and Eileen Cattoor, infant sister Tamara Ann Cattoor, brothers Greg and Larry Cattoor, sisters-in-law Irma Cattoor, Catherine Verkinderen, Arlene Verkinderen and Jane Hennen, brothers-in-law Joe and Dan Verkinderen.
He is survived by his cherished friend Dorothy Ernst, sons Marc Cattoor (Linda), Jeff Cattoor (Sharon), Lance Cattoor (Laura), 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; brothers Thomas Cattoor of Alexandria, MN, Kevin (Deborah) Cattoor of Alexandria, MN, sisters-in-law Sue Cattoor of Stillwater, MN, Deborah Cattoor of Des Moines, IA, brother-inlaw Ernie Hennen of Marshall, MN, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
