He died Monday, Aug. 10, 2026, at Ava's House Hospice in Sioux Falls, S.D., surrounded by family.
He was born Sept. 23, 1942, in Tracy, to Si and Sally (Smith) Sanders.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth of Tracy; children, Jeff of Tracy, Anita Larsen of Grand Island, Nebraska, Paul, Ray, and Arika, all of Tracy; 15 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
