WALNUT GROVE -- Services for Donn Irving Baker, 94, of Walnut Grove will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Walnut Grove United Methodist Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at church on Monday. Burial is in the Walnut Grove Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent at www.stephensfuneralservice.com. He died Saturday, Aug. 8, 2026, at Prairie Home Hospice – Lockwood House in Marshall.
He was born Dec. 27, 1931, in Tracy, to Wilbur and Bernice (Dibble) Baker. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy, 1950-1954. He was stationed aboard the LST-825 USS Hickman County during the Korean War.
Survivors include his children, Cynthia Wegner of Courtland, Collin of Hastings, and Paul of La Conner, Washington; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
