WABASSO -- Services for William "Bill" Melvin Geske, 87, of Wabasso will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Willow Lake, with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Bethany Lutheran Cemetery in Wabasso. Online condolences may be sent at www.stephensfuneralservice.com. He died Sunday, July 12, 2026, at St. Cloud Hospital, surrounded by family.
He was born Oct. 5, 1938, to Emil and Anna (Kruse) Geske in Belview. He enlisted in the Army and while in Germany, worked as a radio repair technician. He served in the military for two years, after which he earned an honorable discharge in 1963.
Survivors include his wife, Audrey; children, Jane Geske of Wabasso, Jenny Seikora of Wabasso, and Jay Geske of Lamberton; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
