WALNUT GROVE — Services for Bruce Martin Hoyt, 70, of Walnut Grove will be at 11 a.m. Monday, at St. Olaf Lutheran Church, rural Walnut Grove. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Sunday at the church and will continue one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the St. Olaf Lutheran Cemetery. He died peacefully Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at Sanford Medical Center – Sioux Falls, surrounded by family.
He was born Feb. 25, 1956, to Leslie and Doris (Kleven) Hoyt in Tracy. He was a flight coordinator in the Army and served at multiple locations over his four years in the military.
Survivors include his siblings, Annette Good of Staples, Dave of Walnut Grove, Curtis of Hermosa, S.D., and Jim of Walnut Grove.
