HENDRICKS -- Mass of Christian Burial for Brian Carl Marten, 61, of Hendricks will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Ivanhoe. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday at the Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Ivanhoe, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. and rosary to follow. Visitation will resume one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at the Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery in Ivanhoe. Houseman Funeral Home-Birk Chapel in Hendricks has been entrusted with the arrangements.
He died peacefully Thursday, July 23, 2026, surrounded by family, from a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
