MINNEOTA -- Mass of Christian Burial for Francis Van Hecke, 99, of Minneota will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Edward Catholic Church in Minneota. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m.Thursday at the Horvath Remembrance Center in Minneota, with a parish prayer service at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will continue Friday morning from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at the remembrance center. Burial will follow the service at St. Edward Catholic Cemetery in Minneota.
He died Thursday, April 23, 2026, at the Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, S.D.
