WESTBROOK — Services for Dale Lee Wehmeyer, 81, of Westbrook will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Westbrook Funeral Home. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the services at the funeral home Wednesday. He died Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Westbrook Good Samaritan Care Center in Westbrook.
He was born July 4, 1944, in Heron Lake, to Herman and Violet (Thomas) Wehmeyer. He proudly served in the U. S. Army from March 15, 1967 to Jan. 8, 1969. Stationed in Vietnam, he was trusted to deliver classified documents.
Survivors include his wife, JoAnn; children, Sherri Vind of Westbrook, Sandra Schroeder of Tracy, Arnold of Lake Wilson, Dale of Slayton and Chad of Windom; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; several step-grand and great-grandchildren; brother. Ralph of Lakefield.
