REDWOOD FALLS–Steven James Hammerschmidt, 77, of Redwood Falls, died peacefully in his home on Saturday, March 14, 2026 surrounded by family. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at St. Catherine Catholic Church in Redwood Falls. Visitation will be held 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 20 at Redwood Valley Funeral Home with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Burial will be in St. Catherine Catholic Cemetery in Redwood Falls.
