LOWER SIOUX–Patti Schoen, 68 of the Lower Sioux Community, journeyed to the spirit world on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 in the comfort of her home following a long battle with kidney disease, which she handled with courage and resilience. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 30, 2026 at the Cansayapi Recreation Center Gym in the Lower Sioux Community. An all-night wake will begin at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, March 29 at the Cansayapi Recreation Center and will continue until the time of service on Monday. Burial will be in St. Cornelia’s Episcopal Cemetery in the Lower Sioux Community. Patti is survived by her children, Dee Grey Eagle and Roy Uballe; her 18 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson, Mateo; and 5 bonus grandchildren.
