In Loving Memory of Elroy “Rod” Jerome Duthoy
BANNING, CA–Rod Jerome Duthoy was born in Marshall, Minnesota on April 12, 1951 to Julius and Everdine Duthoy. He grew up as the youngest of five brothers in a lively home filled with sports and fishing. In his young adulthood, Rod moved to California, started his career as a printer, married and started a family. He coached, mentored, and led youth basketball leagues. He retired from Continental Data Label in 2012. In 2007, Rod married Barbara Williams, and they lived in Banning, California, where he served his community as a dog-walker and basketball referee.
On March 15, 2026, Rod passed away after a long illness, leaving behind a legacy of family. He is survived by his wife Barbara, his children Cody and Elizabeth Duthoy, Brooke and Ryan Federico, as well as five grandchildren Isabella Duthoy, Emma Duthoy, Dominic Federico, Vincenzo Federico, and Azalea Duthoy.
