Angela Kay Maasch
BROOKINGS, SD–Angela Kay Maasch, (to some “Bunny”) born January 7, 1977, passed away on March 26, 2026, at the age of 49. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00am Saturday, April 4, 2026 at Rude’s Funeral Home, Brookings, SD. Visitation will be held from 10:00am until the time of Celebration of Life. Angela was strong-willed and unapologetically herself, she spoke her mind, stood her ground, and loved her family with fierce devotion. She found her greatest joy in her two daughters, Lonnah Royale (Linnea) and Cyndal Sophie, whom she lovingly co-parented with her former husband, Eric Maasch. She was the best dance mom, always present, cheering and putting her girls first. While raising her daughters, Angela proudly earned her RN degree, setting an example of strength and determination. She later found lasting love with Todd Broschat, her soulmate and best friend. Together, along with their beloved pets, they built a life filled with love and laughter.
Angela is survived by her parents, siblings, many nieces and nephews, and all who were lucky enough to be loved by her. She was preceded in death by her brother Matthew and other beloved family members.
Angela lived fully, loved deeply, and showed up for those who mattered most. Her love and legacy will live on forever.
