Randy Hochstein

A Celebration of Life Service for Randy Hochstein, age 68, of Windom, will be held on Thursday, March 5th at 10:00 AM at the American Lutheran Church in Windom with burial in the Lakeview Cemetery in Windom. The service will be livestreamed on the American Lutheran Church of Windom Facebook page.

A visitation for Randy will be held on Wednesday, March 4th from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the LaCanne Family Celebration of Life Center in Windom and for one hour prior to the service on Thursday, from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at the American Lutheran Church in Windom.

Memorial gifts are preferred.

Randy Lee Hochstein was born on September 2, 1957, in Lakefield, Minnesota to the late Alvin Ernest and Frances Elizabeth (Henrich) Hochstein. He was confirmed at the Lutheran Church of Our Savior in Windom. Randy received his education in the Windom Public Schools and graduated in 1976. That is where he met and married his high school sweetheart, Connie (Reinhardt) Hochstein. They were engaged and married on July 29, 1978. After marriage, they moved onto the Hochstein Family Farm and made it their home where they raised three beautiful children, Heidi, Holly and Billy.

Randy enjoyed spending time with his wife and best friend, Connie, children and grandchildren who were his pride and joy, farming, sprint car races, the movie Top Gun, hauling fruit for Minntex Fruit Sales and winters in Arizona.

On Monday, February 16th, Randy Hochstein passed away suddenly at Honor Health Four Peaks Medical Center in Mesa, Arizona.

Randy is survived by his wife of 47 years, Connie Hochstein of Windom; three children, Heidi (Matt Schindle) Baloun and children, Mason and Nolan of St. Peter; Holly (Steven) Louwagie and their children, Brody, Layla and Bronson of Marshall; Billy Hochstein of Windom; brother-in-law, Paul (Pat) Reinhardt of Windom; sister-in-law, Sandy (Bryon) Grove of Windom; and many nieces and nephews.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Curtis Hochstein; father and mother-in-law, John and Ally Reinhardt. Blessed be the memory of Randy Hochstein.
