REDWOOD FALLS — Services for Helen Van Slooten, 102 of Redwood Falls will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Redwood Valley Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Redwood Falls Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family prefers memorials to CentraCare Hospice. Stephens Funeral Service – Redwood Valley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

She died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2026, at River Valley Health & Rehabilitation Center in Redwood Falls.

She was born Jan. 16, 1924, in North Redwood, to Fay and Hattie (Taubert) Castle.

Survivors include her sons, Steven of Little Falls and Ronald of Willmar; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren.
