Barbara “Barb” Peterson

CANBY–Barbara “Barb” Peterson, 77, of rural Canby, MN, died on Friday, January 16, 2026 at the Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD with her family at her side.  Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 23rd at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Canby, MN.  Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, January 22nd at the Houseman Funeral Home, Birk Chapel in Canby, MN with a prayer service at 7 p.m.  Visitation will resume one hour prior to the service at the church.  Burial will be at the St. Stephen’s Cemetery, rural Canby, MN.  Houseman Funeral Home, Birk Chapel of Canby, MN has been entrusted with the arrangements.
