Alita Lenertz

TRACY — Mass of Christian Burial for Alita Margaret Lenertz, 94, of Tracy will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Tracy. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the Tracy Area Funeral Home, beginning with a rosary and prayer service at 4 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at church Friday. Burial is in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Tracy. Stephens Funeral Service – Tracy Area Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

She died Friday, Sept. 19, 2025, at Our House Hospice of Murray County.

She was born Feb. 7, 1931, at home in Westline Township, to Charles and Josephine Gertrude (Molitor).

Survivors include her children, Laurie, Diane Knakmuhs, Brenda, Steve, Theresa Kenyon, Tom, Joanie Gruver, and Joe; 17 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
