COTTONWOOD -- Services for Thomas "Tom" Schmidt, 72, of Cottonwood are pending with the Sunset Funeral & Cremation Association of Echo. 

He died unexpectedly Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2025, at the Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.
