BELLE PLAINE — Mass of Christian Burial for Richard Allen “Dick” Mickelson, 83, of Belle Plaine, formerly of Tracy, will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Tracy. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at the Tracy Area Funeral Home, with a rosary service at 3:30 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church Thursday. Stephens Funeral Service – Tracy Area Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

He died Saturday, Aug. 9, 2025, at Kingsway Retirement Living in Belle Plaine.

He was born Oct. 12, 1941, at home in Holly Township, Murray County, to Ernest and Ruby (Shaw) Mickelson. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged.

Survivors include his wife, Jan; children, Kim, Amy Milinkovich, Steve, and Deb Campbell; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Jerome, and sister, Marilyn Hansen.
