Sandy was born on May 28, 1951, in Tyler, MN, to Harold and Mary Ellen (Sullivan) Neyens. She grew up on the family farm near Russell, MN, as one of nine children. Sandy graduated from Russell Public School in 1969 and continued her education at Willmar Vocational Technical School, where she earned her license in Cosmetology.

She loved to socialize; had a special love for spending time with her grandchildren and attending family gatherings. She also enjoyed shopping, jewelry, traveling, motorcycling, catching up with friends on the phone, and friend to all.
Sandy is survived by her son, Jason Caskey (and Karin Larson) of Dassel, MN; grandson, Cody Caskey of Dassel, MN; and granddaughter, Marissa Caskey of Edina, MN. She is also survived by her siblings: Gene (and Carol) Neyens of Maple Plain; Norma Wuttke of Mound; Joan Isenberg of Brookings, SD; Diane Burckhardt of Russell; and Tom (and Darlene) Neyens of Russell; along with many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Sandy’s family would like to thank everyone for their love, support, and kindness during this difficult time. Jason and Karin are especially grateful to her siblings for their unwavering support and care over the past ten years, and to her niece, Alyssa Snyder, whose constant warmth and kindness meant so much to Sandy.
