Eugene “Gene” Staniszewski

RUSSELL–Eugene “Gene” Staniszewski, 72, of Russell, MN, died on Monday, May 19, 2025, at the Avera Tyler Hospital in Tyler, Minnesota. Memorial Services are 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Marshall, Minnesota.  Following a reception at the AmericInn Hotel, interment with military honors will be at the Russell Cemetery in Russell, Minnesota.  Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at the Hamilton Funeral Home. The evening will conclude with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will then continue one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, also at Hamilton Funeral Home.
