Sydney Rupp

WINDOM — A celebration of life for Sydney “Syd” Colleen Rupp, 75, of Windom will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 8, at Christ Victory Lutheran Church in Redwood Falls.  Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday, March 7, at the church and will continue one hour prior to the service Saturday, March 8.  Burial is in the Rose Hill Mennonite Cemetery near Westbrook. Memorial donations are preferred in lieu of flowers, and may be given to Christ Victory Lutheran Church, Word of Life Lutheran Church of MN Valley, and Rose Hill Mennonite Cemetery. Stephens Funeral Service – Redwood Valley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

She died Thursday, Feb. 20, 2025, at her home, with her family at her side.

She was born July 31, 1949, to Vincent and Doris (Skalsky) Olson in Trimont.

She is survived by her husband, Dave; nine children, Jolene McBride of Fort Worth, Texas, Donna Peterson of Arlington, Texas, Robin Rahn of Bingham Lake, Kristal Tjepkes of McKinney, Texas, Vincent Jass of Windom, Michael Jass of Maple Grove, Jason Rupp of Windom, Lisa Rupp of Eagan, Nicole Prins of Brandon, S.D.; 30 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; three siblings, Brian Olson of Mankato, Claudia Steward of Dunnell and Doug Olson of Buckeye, Arizona.
