Larry Robert Karbo

MARSHALL–Larry Robert Karbo was born August 22, 1947 in Marshall, MN to Robert and Phyllis (Smedsrud) Karbo and he died October 8, 2024 at Ava’s Hospice House in Sioux Falls, South Dakota at the age of 77 years after a brief battle with cancer. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Friday, October 11, 2024, at George Boom Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory in Sioux Falls. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Peace Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls. A graveside service will be at approximately 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at Danebode Lutheran Cemetery in Tyler, MN. Larry is survived by his wife of 57 years, Gail of Sioux Falls, SD; daughter, Kim and husband Chad Dieken of Victoria, MN; son, Mike and wife Susie of Burke, SD; his grandchildren, Hannah and Brock Karbo, Spencer and William Dieken; his sisters, Roberta Karbo of Sioux Falls, SD and Sandy Nelson and husband Neal of Barret, MN; his brother, Dan Karbo and wife Linda of Alexandria, MN; brother-in-law, Craig Skuya of Sioux Falls, SD; sisters-in-law, Ronda Karbo of Russell, MN, Sandra Venekamp of Grants Pass, OR, and Diane and husband Leon Sorensen of Burnsville, MN; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
