LAKE BENTON–Caryl Schlapkohl, 63, of Lake Benton, Minnesota, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at the Avera Tyler Hospital in Tyler, Minnesota.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Hartquist Funeral Home – Pipestone Chapel with a time of prayer and memory sharing taking place at 6:30 p.m.  Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the Woodstock Community Church in Woodstock, Minnesota.  Private Family Graveside Service will take place at the St. John’s Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery near Verdi, Minnesota.
