WALNUT GROVE — Services for Helen Tate, 84, of Walnut Grove will be at 11 a.m. Monday Trinity Lutheran Church in Walnut Grove. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church Monday. Burial will be in the Walnut Grove Cemetery. Stephens Funeral Service – Walnut Grove Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

She died Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2024, at her home, surrounded by family.

She was born Oct. 6, 1939, to Fred Ancel and Cornelia (Bailey) Cole in Frost, Ohio.

Survivors include her two daughters, June Hoffman, and Lisa Hoffman, both of Walnut Grove; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Catherine Overby of Ravenna, Ohio.
