Cletus Trost

WABASSO — Mass of Christian Burial for Cletus J. Trost, 93 of Wabasso will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Wabasso. Visitation will be 9:30-11 a.m. prior to services at the church Friday. Private burial will be at St. Anne’s Catholic Cemetery. Stephens Funeral Service – Redwood Valley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

He died Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2024, at Serenity Suites in Wabasso.

He was born June 24, 1931, to Albert and Minnie (Hammerschmidt) Trost in Sheridan Township.

Survivors include his wife, Fern; children, Randy of Geneva, Illinois, Curtis of Wabasso, Nancy Schmiesing of Milroy and Michael of Wabasso; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; siblings, Bernus Trebesch, Ralph, and Diane Knott.
