Darla Schulte

Darla Jayne Schulte, 87, formerly of Marshall, passed away peacefully on Aug. 12, 2024, in Arcadia, California.

Darla was born on June 7, 1937, to Curtis and Helen Jeanette (Guenther) Sheehan in Mankato. She graduated from Butterfield High School in 1955. She married Edwin Schulte on Nov. 11, 1956, in St. James. Darla and Ed made their home in Marshall, where they raised their two children and made many life-long friends. Following retirement, they spent time traveling the country in their motor home, ultimately splitting time between Minnesota, Colorado and Arizona. Darla relocated to Bradbury, California in 2019 to be close to her daughter and son-in-law.

A celebration of Darla’s life will be 10:30 a.m. Aug. 19, at Hosanna Lutheran Church in Mankato. Her final resting place will be in Decoria Cemetery, Mankato.
