Sodona Nelson Pearson

SLAYTON — Services for Sodona Mae Nelson Pearson of Shakopee will be at 12:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9, at the Totzke Funeral Home in Slayton, with visitation from 11 a.m. to time of services. Totzke Funeral Home of Slayton is entrusted with arrangement.

She died peacefully June 12, 2024.

She was born Sept. 30, 1935, in Ft. Worth, Texas, to Horace and Anna Blanton.

Survivors include her sons, Mark Nelson of Worthington, Marlin Nelson of Cave Creek, Arizona, Gary Nelson of St. Kilian, Scott Nelson of Litchfield, Bruce Nelson of New Prague, and Bradley Nelson of Shakopee; three stepchildren, Brenda Vien of Gallatin, Tennessee, Brian Pearson of Apple Valley, Wendy Pearson of Eagan; two brothers, Harold Blanton of Hurst, Texas, Larry Blanton of Ft. Worth Texas.
