REDWOOD FALLS–Quentin “Red” Hal Castle, age 93 of Redwood Falls, passed away peacefully at home Tuesday, July 2, 2024. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 12, 2024 at Cornerstone Christian Church in Redwood Falls. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 11 at Redwood Valley Funeral Home and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at the Minnesota Veteran’s Cemetery – Redwood Falls. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Cornerstone Christian Church, Redwood Falls, MN. Online condolences may be sent at www.stephensfuneralservice.com. Stephens Funeral Service – Redwood Valley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. He then began working part time at the Redwood Falls Golf Course from 1948-1951 when he was drafted on November 7, 1951 into the United States Marine Corp. He served for one year at Camp Pendleton, CA attending radio school while there. He was honorably discharged in 1952 to come home to help on the farm. Quentin is survived by his wife of 68 years, Letha; 5 children: Charles Castle of Lynden, WA, Steven Castle of Redwood Falls, Linda VanOverbeke of Marshall, Brenda McKnight of Fairmont and Wendy von Wald of Rochester; 17 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings: LeRoy (Vera) Castle, Eva (Jack) Daun, Edgar (Peggy) Castle, Dennis (Grace) Castle, Martin (Thelma) Castle; and son-in-law David McKnight.
