REDWOOD FALLS — Services for Quentin “Red” Hal Castle, 93, of Redwood Falls will be at 11 a.m. Friday, July 12, at Cornerstone Christian Church in Redwood Falls. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday, July 11, at Redwood Valley Funeral Home and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at the Minnesota Veteran’s Cemetery – Redwood Falls. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Cornerstone Christian Church, Redwood Falls, MN. Stephens Funeral Service – Redwood Valley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

He died peacefully Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at home.

He was born Nov. 2, 1930, to Roy Lee and Anna Susan (Taubert) Castle in Redwood Falls. He was drafted on Nov. 7, 1951, into the United States Marine Corp. He served for one year at Camp Pendleton, California, attending radio school while there. He was honorably discharged in 1952.

Survivors include his wife, Letha; five children, Charles of Lynden, Washington, Steven of Redwood Falls, Linda VanOverbeke of Marshall, Brenda McKnight of Fairmont and Wendy von Wald of Rochester; 17 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; sister, Josephine Hanson of Burnsville.
