Lloyd Knakmuhs

WALNUT GROVE — Services for Lloyd Knakmuhs, 90, of Walnut Grove will be at 11 a.m. Friday, at St. Olaf Lutheran Church, rural Walnut Grove and will be livestreamed on the Lutheran’s On The Farm Southwest Minnesota YouTube page. Visitation will be at 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service Friday at the church. Burial will be in the St. Olaf Lutheran Cemetery. Stephens Funeral Service – Walnut Grove Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

He died Tuesday, June 4, 2024, with family by his side, at the Westbrook Good Samaritan Care Center.

He was born on June 2, 1934, to Paul and Effie (Jackson) Knakmuhs on the family farm in Springdale Township. He was honorably discharged from the Army Reserves in 1962.

Survivors include his children, Brad of Westbrook and Deb Jenniges of Revere; five grandchildren; one step-grandchild; seven great-grandchildren.
